Quote of the Day.

Yesterday, while we were out shopping on The Great Easter Dress Hunt of 2014, I overheard the following from a rack or two over, whilst perusing the aisles. You see, Gracie has been obsessed with this whole tweenager-thing, especially with The Growing Of Boobs. (Don’t worry – she’s getting a stack of Judy Blumes for her birthday, Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret?, included.) So I wasn’t surprised to find that as I was looking at dresses for Easter and maybe some green socks for St. Patrick’s Day, Gracie and her sister had meandered over to check out the rather mysterious training bra selection.

Gracie: I bet I could almost fit that one.
Bee: Really?
Gracie: <So-and-so> is already wearing one like this!
Bee: Oh, look at this one! <Rustling of the tags> You have to be 32 to wear this one!

BWAH! God bless her. I so wish that was what that number meant. Even funnier was the fact I didn’t hear Little Miss Know-It-All correct her, either.

Hope the laugh brightens your Monday – today marked the end of Spring Break and return to school. I already miss dropping the kiddos off at John and Corrie’s and taking the shortcut into work. And that’s before what you know will be the Monday Night Meltdown hits!

I LOVE it! God bless Bee and her wisdom. Maybe you could put the one Gracie thinks she can fit in her Easter Basket. Wouldn’t that make for a great picture?

HA! Well, in all fairness, they *are* just getting out of clothing sizes that are numbered by approximate age 😉
