It isn’t the same David Mitchell I checked when the movie came out. I really thought it was because it was at the same time the real David Mitchell was sporting a beard. I assumed he had done so to impress Tom Hanks

I feel your pain. We were up at 4:50 because the oldest child’s class went to Cedar Point in Ohio today. She had to be AT school at 6:00 and won’t be home until 9:00. It is a killer long day for all of us. Tomorrow morning may put me over the edge but at least I don’t have to pack any more lunches.

*I* thought we were letting summer begin because of ALL! the plane tix! Auntie Rhi has plane tix for a week from now (whoa.), you and Gracie and Bee have plane tix for the very first day you could come up here, and I have tix that last to the very end of my own summer break. (Unless there’s a hurricane. Or a freak ice storm. Then we know how those plane tix work…).

What an awesome party!! Until my kids were older I always had paties outside the home – sometimes I saved for 6 months to be able to do that. So worth the money if you ask me. Happy to hear some friends showed up this time. May the curse be long gone!

That’s really sweet that you worked so hard to break the birthday curse. I always had the same problem of people not showing up to my parties because my birthday is around Easter break. And then there was the curse that lasted from between the ages of 16 – 30 when someone (family member/friend/whatever) would do something to mess it up.

I hope her birthday curse is broken forever!
