Last night, the girls were messing around on the couch, half of them squished behind my friend John (who, after putting up with and playing with them for an evening, should really be nominated for sainthood). The point is, space was kinda squishy and they weren’t really wrestling, but hands and feet were going. You know, because they were eating sugar. And that’s when…
Gracie: Ow! Bee just hit me in my nuts!
Me, flabberghasted, and yet…not really surprised: Gracie, girls don’t have nuts!
And I was about to explain, when Bee piped up with…
Bee: Yeah! We have coconuts!
Ahhh, playground anatomy lessons: I don’t know if you’ve failed my children or not.

Love it!! Also, it makes me feel better that my daughter is not the only one that has made such a comment.

Can you believe Alexis STILL doesn’t know a word for breasts? She seems to be scared to ask, so she sort of talks around it, all like, “THOSE” while pointing to some random woman. It cracks me the heck up.
I’m telling her they’re coconuts, if only because it’s fun to screw with her. Heh.

Bwahahaha! Has she spied your coconut bra somewhere?
I thought about you on Sunday. We both had our dreams dashed this weekend.
